Everyone is welcome to enter the Fashion Show! Whether you made your cosplay or not, anyone can participate in the CONjuration Fashion Show. Prizes* will be awarded for both entry types: Craftsman and Costume.

Fashion Show Guidelines:

  • Contestants must have a CONjuration badge.
  • Participants 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult before and after walking the “catwalk”/stage.

  • Explosives, dangerous special effects, flash pots, projectiles, and inappropriate behavior will result in disqualification and possible removal from the convention.
  • All props must adhere to CONjuration’s prop/weapons policy:
    • All weapons must be non-working. No functioning projectile weapons, including water pistols, silly-string guns, and ping-pong pistols.
    • Bladed weapons must remain cased or sheathed.
    • Weapons and long staffs must be checked and tagged by security.
  • There is no pre-judging required for the Costume Fashion Show participants. However, if you are entering as a Craftsman (see below), you must attend pre-judging.

Costume Fashion Show

There’s no need to make your costume from scratch to enter the Costume Fashion Show! This contest is open to anyone who wants to showcase a costume primarily made from purchased or already assembled pieces. If your outfit is more than 50% store-bought or pre-made, join us on stage and let the judges and audience celebrate your creativity.

To enter the Costume Fashion Show:

  1. Sign up using this form before the con.
  2. Arrive 30 minutes before the Fashion Show starts on Saturday, November 16th (time/location will be announced via the app, programming guide, or at the Opening Ceremonies on Friday at 5pm).
  3. Take the stage during CONjuration and show off your cosplay!

Craftsmanship Contest

This contest is for those who made their own cosplay and want to showcase their craftsmanship skills. Pre-judging will take place earlier on Saturday (see the app, programming guide, or attend Opening Ceremonies for details). Contestants will also walk in the Fashion Show.

To enter the Craftsmanship Contest:

  1. Apply using this form before the con.
  2. Attend pre-judging and the Fashion Show on Saturday.
  3. Bring a photo reference of your cosplay to pre-judging.
  4. At least 50% of your cosplay must be handmade. No purchased costumes allowed. Models are permitted if the creator is present to receive the award.
Contestants must follow all Fashion Show Guidelines.

At the Fashion Show:

  • The Craftsman category winners will be announced first.
  • The Costume Fashion Show winners will be determined by a panel of judges, who will narrow down the final selections.
  • Finalists in the Costume category will be chosen by audience applause, measured by a decibel meter, with additional winners then announced.
So, flaunt your fandom and strut your stuff!
  •

*Only one prize per person will be awarded.
